PAWNY is pleased to open nominations for annual awards to be presented at our upcoming 2025 annual dinner event in September. These prestigious awards recognize the exceptional contributions of local pharmacists and pharmacy students who have made a significant impact on the practice of pharmacy, patient care, and our community.

How to Submit a Nomination:

Pharmacist Awards

Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award

Candidate should be a NYS pharmacist practicing less than nine years who is a PAWNY member, is currently practicing, and who actively participates in pharmacist associations, professional programs, or community service.

PAWNY Pharmacist of the Year Award

Candidate should be nominated for his/her unswerving devotion and service to the profession of pharmacy.

Service to PAWNY/PSSNY Award

Candidate goes above and beyond with service to our organization and is an integral part of our success.

PAWNY Pharmacy Leadership Award

Pharmacist has shown to be a leader in PAWNY and a mentor to our members and students.

PAWNY Hall of Fame Award

Has contributed significantly to the betterment of the profession and the community through their work or their organizational activities.

Student Awards

Arthur/Owl Student Scholarship

Student realizes importance of being active member of the profession through membership in SPAWNY/SPSSNY. Student should also demonstrate an appreciation for and/or interest in community pharmacy ownership.

Karl Fiebelkorn Student Scholarship

Student is an active leader in SPAWNY/SPSSNY, displaying dedication to advocacy and community pharmacy involvement.

QC Student Scholarship

Student is an active leader in SPAWNY/SPSSNY, displaying dedication to advocacy and service to the pharmacy profession.
